Update: Alexander wore a cast or a brace on his left hand during practice Wednesday, but there was no official word on the nature of the injury, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Recommendation: Alexander didn't take as many reps and carried the ball almost exclusively in his right hand. Doesn't sound overly serious thus far, but we'll find out Thursday when he speaks to the media. Maurice Morris is the backup, but he is listed on Wednesday's injury report with a hip injury.
